🇹🇭 Public Holidays in Thailand — 2026.

TIPS FOR RESERVATION AND SEASON WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS

Phuket Weather & Rainy Season (Important for Rental Plans)

Phuket’s weather affects safety, comfort, and bike handling, especially during rain-heavy months.

🏝 Seasons Overview

  • 🌞 High/Dry Season: November to April – generally sunny, low rainfall, best beach weather.

  • 🌧 Rainy (Monsoon) Season: May to October – increased rainfall, frequent afternoon showers, thunderstorms, rough seas.

🌦 Key Rainy Months

  • May: Start of wet season; shift toward higher humidity and showers.

  • June–August: Consistent rain with sunny breaks; often peak monsoon conditions.

  • September: Typically the wettest month with heavy rainfall.

  • October: Transition month; still wet but rain gradually lessening.

Note: It rarely rains all day; most showers are short, afternoon-focused bursts.

🛠️ Handling Scheduling System Errors

Even the best systems can glitch — especially around holidays when demand spikes. Here’s how to help customers plan:

🔁 Double-Check Bookings

  • Confirm pickup/drop-off dates after submission via Whatsapp or Telegram

  • Warn customers that holiday periods (Apr, Dec) can lead to double-booked slots.

📱 Reminders & Alerts

  • We may elect to send email/SMS confirmations with Whatsapp & Telegram or phone text.

👥 Human Backup

  • If online schedule shows conflicts or errors, have a staff contact to manually verify and confirm reservations.

🧰 Mechanical Issues & Force Majeure

Unexpected events can disrupt rentals. Prepare your customers with clear expectations.

🚲 Mechanical Breakdown

  • Pre-ride inspection checklists could find mechanical or technical issues

  • Offer 24/7 roadside support or rapid replacement options are only available on Club Rides. However, we will do our best based on inventory to provide a replacement.

🌪 Force Majeure (Weather/Natural Events)

  • Conditions such as monsoon storms, flooding, or official holiday travel restrictions can disrupt travel plans.

  • Include in Terms:

    • Weather-related cancellations

    • Refund/credit timelines

    • Safety advisories during heavy rains

📆 Holiday & Peak Period Strain

  • During big holidays (e.g., Songkran or year-end), heavier traffic and service delays may occur.

  • Suggest early booking and allowance for extra travel time.
